The session focused on the power of intergenerational programs in aged care, and our flagship initiative, Bridging the Gap, took centre stage. In her presentation, Maureen highlighted the many benefits these programs bring to both residents and younger participants—fostering connection, purpose, and mutual learning. She shared heartfelt stories of new friendships and also explored the challenges of running intergenerational initiatives and how thoughtful planning and community partnerships can lead to truly win-win outcomes. It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our innovative programs in this space and inspire others across the sector.
