JEWISH LIFE
Jewish life is a vital part of Emmy Monash. We recognise that everyone has their own personal connection to Judaism, and we tailor our programs so that you find meaning and enjoyment. With a strong emphasis on belonging and family, you will enjoy a warm, heimish, Jewish environment where your traditions, beliefs, and identity will flourish.
We observe the Jewish calendar and ensure that weekly shiurim, Challah baking, Shabbat services, festivals and life cycle events are celebrated in meaningful ways. Families are also invited to join in during all festivities and special Jewish Holidays.
We are proud to have our own on-site synagogue for weekly Shabbat services and chaggim. Celebrating Jewish life has allowed us to develop strong connections with a variety of other Jewish organisations. In fact, we often partner with other shules in the community, this means residents can join with community members to attend ‘pop-up’ kabbalat shabbat services in addition to our regular services.
