We recently welcomed Federal Minister for Aged Care, Sam Rae, alongside Josh Burns MP and Dan Repacholi MP, to Emmy Monash.

We were able to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing aged care, particularly the delivery of high-quality, culturally specific services. We appreciated the chance to share our model of care, future planning, and the realities shaping the sector.

Importantly, the Ministers also spent time chatting with residents and hearing first-hand about their experiences and what quality aged care means to them.
Direct engagement with government is critical as we continue to advocate for sustainable, person-centred aged care that meets the future needs of our community.
