To acknowledge National Volunteer Week this year, we treated our Emmy community, volunteers, partner organisations, and some family members, past, and present to a screening of Driftwood the Musical at Chapel off Chapel. This was the first time since 2019 we could all get together in person and honour the role they have collectively played in support of Emmy Monash.

The attendees were thrilled to enjoy the musical performance of Driftwood, the story of Carl and Slawa Duldig and their young daughter Eva. We have had such fantastic feedback from many, they found it moving and informative and connected them to their past. A delicious afternoon tea followed and gave everyone time to chat and enjoy the social occasion. This event was made possible by funding from the Glen Eira Council.
