The Emmy community came together for International Holocaust Remembrance Day, which marks the 76^th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. This day is an important occasion where we pay tribute to the 6 million Jews who lost their lives during the Holocaust.

With Holocaust survivors among our residents, the service is always very moving, but it brings our community together as we commemorate the tragedies that occurred during the Second World War. We thank the representatives from the Jewish Holocaust Centre, Lisa Phillips (Director of Education) and Michael Cohen (volunteer) for their active involvement in our service.
