On a gorgeous autumn afternoon, residents and staff volunteers gathered outside and planted nearly 500 tulip, jonquil and daffodil bulbs at Emmy Monash. This project was meant to be done with the students of Caulfield Junior College, but given the health risks of COVID-19, this was not feasible.

While this was not what was originally planned, it was wonderful seeing the staff and residents come together and enjoy the fresh air while digging, planting, and fertilising the bulbs. We look forward to watching the flowers grow and eventually bloom in Spring.
