At the end of 2022, we marked the 10th anniversary of Emmy’s flagship intergenerational program, Bridging the Gap. This program has grown immensely in that time and our party really shook the house!  Together with Mount Scopus teachers, Principal Rabbi James Kennard, past and present BTG students, Emmy residents, and Brett Kaye, we had a wonderful party in late November. We even connected over zoom with Ittay Flescher in Israel, the first teacher to build the program. It certainly was a special celebration filled with joy, love and reminiscing. This program has seen students continue to volunteer in their own right, to work at Scopus and be involved in running the program, and to visit residents in their own time.
