Our Australia Day celebrations were in full swing this year. Leading up to the 26^th, Australian flags and memorabilia were on display, with some classic Aussie snacks in the café. Residents also had the chance to cook the iconic cheesy vegemite scrolls and paint Australian inspired artwork. On our day of celebration, our residents enjoyed a barbeque lunch before listening to our talented volunteer Josh Batten perform a collection of Australian songs, both classics and contemporary, and even some of his own compositions!
